There is some truth to this, but it takes a lot more than just timing sex around ovulation. If you have an orgasm during sex, it is more likely to be a boy, if you eat foods that raise your acidity, you are more likely to have a girl. There are many things you can do to influence gender, but no guaranteees. For a boy, eat more yogurt, less sugar, fruit for a girl eat more fruit, acidic type foods. Yes, it is possible but not 100% results are guaranteed. Nowadays, doctors give you a 12 months chart. If you follow that strictly you can detemine the sex of the baby. But I think it is not yet available in India.
