Coups are staged anytime and the Islamic sector could certainly do it if they want.

Silly....a coup d'etat is not kill kill yourself off but to overthrow the government....so why would someone launch a nuclear device leaving radioactive waste behind on themselves. And at last reckoning, Pakistan did not have nuclear devices and if they did, they would all probably have self-destructed by now. Since the government and many of the people of Pakistan are Islamic, your question is even more meaningless...You apparently don't understand the region or for that matter geopolitics and the demographics of the world.

Sure, it could happen. Musharraf took control in a coup. I don't see why anyone else couldn't.
