Why do developed countries feel that they are the only nations with the right to nuclear weapons?
The U.S and Russia have approximately 20,000 nuclear warheads each!!! They are armed to the teeth with intercontinental ballistic missiles that can deliver nuclear weapons anywhere in the world within minutes.. yet they go slap sanctions against other countries that are trying to develop them as well.
Why does the US government provide India and Isreal with nuclear technology, yet sanction North Korea and Iran for allegedly (in Iran's case) "developing" nuclear weapons.
It is as if the Super-powers in this world think that developing countries do not understand the concept of deterrance. North Korea is aware that the US, Russia and China can nuke it off the face of the Earth at any moment, it desires Nuclear weapons because of that. DEFENSE! Not OFFENSE.
We all seem to be forgetting that the ONLY country ever to use a nuclear fissile weapon on another country is the UNITED STATES!

Who wants to conquer South Korea and dominate the Korean Peninsula? Not the USA, Russia or China (probably).

Who wants to wipe Israel off the face of the map? Definitely not the USA, Russia (probably) or China (probably).

Did you even forget that those nukes arent aimed at the small countries, they (the developed ones) all aim it at each other so none of them will ever have the guts to use it.

And again with the Hiroshima/Nagasaki case? Damnit that was a crazy time during a crazy war. And since then has the USA ever used these weapons? They know what they are playing with, the problem is people like Kim Jong ill do not.

If you are american then maybe your hypocrisy is only in staying here and not recognizing your home as your home. You are free to come and go as you wish.
North Korea is one of those countries that people still literally die escaping from to this day. Try speaking out against the government in North Korea or Iran will you?
Less than 20 years ago Iran was mounting a fascist Muslim crusade. That, I believe is when they perverted the word 'Jihad'.
They went to war with Iraq sending over 1million men as a suicide squad. The war erupted with Saddam trying to steal some oil fields. Then that kook the ayatollah komeni was in power there. We fed Saddam some 10million dollars and got him a bunch of equipment from former soviet union to hold off the horde at his doorstep...using him to fight a greater evil...not a bad strategy...but made us the mortal enemy of Iran.
You are telling me you would actually trust these people with nukes? These are the people that will stop nothing short of 'the total annihilation of the western world'. that is thier mission statement.
Hezbollah on Isreal is the exact same thing. And Hezbollah, btw uses the civillian downtrodden in Lebanon as fodder. In the recent conflict there Isreal was targetting and dismantling the infastructure, prioritizing roads and bridges, but not even to the point where they are beyond repair. This is important military strategem according to national defense for them.
If you look up the IDF website you will see thier mission statement that they can never afford to lose one single battle ever.
Isnt it about time you get over it and celebrate the fact you live in a place where you can have variance of opinion? That you can ask such preposterous yet intelligent question without fearing your own safety?
Who would you trust with the nukes?
Im happy whats going on. Its a crazy time to be alive, but Id rather now than let this stalemate grow any longer or deeper, that will simply embolden bonafide enemy of you that you dont even recognize, stalemating that would eventually embroil my grandchildren, wouldnt you like to take some responsibility in this screwed up world? Or just stand on the sideline screaming that the whole game sucks?
Well its not football, and they play by different rules. If they beat us in the field theyre coming after you in the stands. If we beat them in the field, our water girls go tend to thier stands. Thats the difference.

The whole world is NOT hippocritical boy.
Developed countries are very confident about their actions thats why they formed United Nations. Its the small countries that are not ready to join that scare the big nations. Why can't they join forces. What is it??they don't want to share their natural resources, in exchage for other goods US or big countires may offer??
Why do small countires neglect feeding their population rather than develop nuclear missiles. Lets face it there are many undeveloped countries that get what they deserve, they exchange intelligence for good times. For example in Jamaica most of the country men concern themselves is with weed, alcohol and sex...well thats all they will get out of forming a country, when you conserve all your energy with that "party"stuff, then you want to come to a big country and live the same way...its not going to work sure you will become envious and crime will so forth florish.

In case you forgot the countries that are strictly regulated by sanctions are the countries that we have had the biggest conflicts with in the past..maybe you forgot about Korea, Vietnam, Japan and Germany (WWI, WWII), Iraq They need control and part of the peace treaty's that were signed gave us that control. The more Nuclear weapons that are out there the more likey one is gonna get in the air..Trust me this is a good thing..

OK. Just because the U.S. in the wrong...let's let every nation on earth have nuclear weapons. How safe would that make you feel?

The countries like the U.S. and Russia, realize the destruction it can do, and respect its power.

Just because everyone on your street has a gun, does that mean you give one to the psychotic, retarded kid who moved in next door saying he wants to kill everyone?

Not everyone out there wants to 'play' nice.

I don't think we are showing ourselves to be all that developed here in the U. S. recently.

At least not socially.
