I paid a fortune and I want to get a lot of wear out of them. What can I wear with them besides knee-length skirts?

I don't really feel good in jeans tucked into boots because I think it makes my legs look shorter. I'm only 5'4".

Since you don't feel comfotable tucking pants inside the boots why dont you try:
1)Denim cut off shorts
2)Denim skirt with a long sleeve shirt
3)A flowing dress that isn't too long but not too short
4)Wearing pants over the boots but rolling up the pants to the top of the boots

Jeans are good - they don't get tucked into the boots, but go over.
Also, get a good flare or boot cut kind of jeans/pants, and cut slits on the outsides. You can either cut the slits on the side seams, or up the back. I had a pair of jeans that I slit up the back of the calves, and got a lot of compliments on them.

What can't you wear them with? I just bought a pair for my Paris vacation cause they'll go with everything. Gouchos look really cute with knee high boots. Skirts look great. Jeans can be worn over them. Dresses. Just no shorts with them!

skirts come in all lenghts and style. try longer, minis. try dresses.
try gauchos. jeans. hide the boots under pants or a long skirt. or show them wearing your pants in the boots. roll up the pants.

Wear the gaucho pants or tailored shorts...they also look good with wide leg dress pants :-)
