I think that the 2K games are starting to surpass Live, in graphics and in gameplay. Live is falling behind to 2K. I bought 2K7 and I think it's a better game. what u guys think?

BROTHER I am gonna go ahead and give you the best answer I can because the days leadin up to the release of both games I was searching like crazy. But I actually ended up playin both games.... I've been Mr. Live for years now... However if you are a live fan as me you can honestly admit that 05 was not that much of a step up from 04. Sure they added the shooter, stopper, dunker, power feature or whatever but was it really better? it was okay... Now I played 06 and let me tell you. I played one game and shut it off. It seemed like nothing but an updated roster. Now the Dynasty mode looked gr8 but I didnt **** wit it. 2K7 on the other hand really put in some work. Adding signature shots of players singnature dribbles,better gameplay, harder A.I. (if you are a live fanatic its gonna take u awhile to the new controls which means the computer is a challenge. I used to blow out the comp. for like 40 easy on superstar in live). 2K7 is more like how basketball is played a real grind it out game instead of Live bein everybody wanna be the Phoniex suns type of game. SO GET 2K7. hopefully makers of live will see this and actually get people who want to work as developers. Neither is perfect and 2k7 could do a LOT better with faces and graphics but man its that much better of a game....FROM A LIVE FAN!!! FYI. I work at Wal-Mart and we dont take back open games so jus so u kno u only get one chance if u gonna buy and rentin both will run u bout 13 or so dollars jus put that 13 towards 2K7 and you wont regret it. Live is jus an updated Roster.

Quality-wise, the 2K games have surpassed EA's sports titles for years, and you could include the Dreamcast titles in that group too. That's why EA bought the exclusive rights to football and tried to buy hockey, basketball, and baseball. Live is flashier but unrealistic. The 2K games just haven't sold as many units as EA's titles, but the games have consistently considered better by videogame mags and critics from the jump. EA is only in the game due to the established fanbase that's been around since the 16 bit days of Genesis and the SNES.

Honestly... i am a big EA Sports fan. However, NBA LIVE has been slacking. when it comes to basketball games i would have to go to NBA 2K7. But i cant stay away from my MADDEN hahaha. but u might have a point there for opening GAMERS eyes out there because 2K7 is comin up!

NBA 2K7 over NBA 07(It's just like 06) and NBA live 2007(Just isn't as good as 2K7)

2k7 has better graphics and a more realistic feel. Live 2007 isn't any good. i was expecting a lot but it was just a normal arcade-ish game.

2k7 all the way, best simulation! if u actually play organized basketball i think you would like 2K7 better. Live is too arcadey.
