This girl and I went to the same elementary school and high school without knowing each other existed. After high school, we got to know each other; i told her i liked her. She's really shy & considerate. We started university in different cities. During 1st year, we called each other & exchanged gifts. It was noticiable that we spent alot of $ on long distance calling & she feared that she was affecting my studies. I feared that I was disturbing her. She stopped talking to me. I would reach her answering machine whenever i call her, she never replies to my emails, she blocks me on IM, we don't see each other anymore. This has been ongoing for ~3 years. I relocated to work in her city for a year to look for her. I saw her 2-3 times during the year & she would still show me her brightest smile. I still think she's the best & she knows it. I'm back home studying. I graduate in 2 years as an engineer. I'm 21, want her as a wife. I'm saving up for a diamond ring. Am I crazy? Will she care?

yes sweetheart, you are crazy. Sorry baby but even shy girls don't go to this extreme to ignore you. She flashes her brightest smile because she is polite, and you are smitten. So even if it's not her brightest smile you see is as such. Will she care that you still have feelings for her, not to the degree you want her to.
you are young you will find someone who will return your feelings. Just hang in there.

You know the answer already - she broke off communications. Even though she smiles at you, there is no mention of actually communicating, much less of having a date. You had better at least ask her to go to coffee soon so you can get a definite idea of how she feels about you.

That is the sweetest thing you are doing but I really dont know if she would care you would need to talk to her and get an answer, but honestly if after three years she doesnt even send you a "Hello" i think that means you have to move on.
