If you are coming here for 3 months, why don't you live at one of the hostels in mumbai. If you live in the hostel, you dont have to worry about time going waste in cleaning the room or even about cooking food, since they are taking care of everything and they are also much more reasonable than hiring flats. You can also request them for individual room if you like. I'll give you some of the contacts. You can call them up, if you like, and inquire from them.
