Someone has mentioned some threats in a chat session and I would like to retreive the conversation for legal purposes if this would go to court.
How can I retreive the chat history?
I had that chat session yesterday and forot to save it...it's Windows messenger, not MSN messenger.

You can retrieve chat history only if you have clicked on the save chat messages. Go to Contacts, choose Message Archive and click on Messages, then Preferences then Save Messages. Make sure the button is not clicked that says erase all messages when I sign out.

if u have set up ur windows live messenger to save all your chat sessions then u can retrieve it by rt. clicking that person's name then view then message history
