i want to make a device for high speed wireless networking. i don't want to purchase a device. i will preferrably use 802.11x standard. i want to have
i) circuit diagrams
ii) components details
i will build the device myself. i you know about links for such circuits or you can provide me help by any way, plz help me.
i will place this project in exhibition which will be held soon in our university.

Not aware of any such plans. Given the extremely low cost of wireless hardware, it would cost you 5 or 6 times as much to build one yourself. You'd also likely run afoul of the law since a homemade unit isn't type approved by the communications authority in your country -- FCC in the US -- if you don't have a radiotelephone license in your counrty.

Look on some amature radio sites for this, a many of us are into that spectrum and have done a lot with it. For the most part though we use off the shelf consumer grade gear. And salvaging the chips that you would need is difficulr because most are surface mount.
