Well everybody's answer is very similar...however completely correct. There is nothing you can do. If nuclear weapons start being used country against country....there is very little chance of anybody living. The nuclear particles cause problems for YEARS...Cancer is a large "after effect" of nuclear weapons.

It depends on who is attacking us. I assume you ask this quesiton because of the nuclear test by North Korea. As far as we have been told, North Korea has enough plutonium for 10 nuclear warheads. I hope that Kim Jong-il knows that any use of nuclear weapons would bring an immediate nuclear strike in his country and this would serve as a deterent. There is a lot of information on the internet about what to do in case of a nuclear attack.

start building your bunker now deep in the ground with air purifiers food and water for a long long long time medicines bandages clothing books blankets battery's ham radios generators fuel and ofcouse 2 of each animal and hydroponic equipment and seeds from your favorite veggies cause none of that's every coming back cost about 2 million dollars or just tell the person you are with you love them and kiss them goodbye all this a.s.s. kissing isn't working for me in life sure the he.l.l isn't how im going down ..

best course of action is to stick your head between your knees and kiss your butt goodbye because if we get nuked we will nuke the people adn then all hell is going to break loose.

I'd suggest live everyday like it's your last & take the time to think about hard subjects like death. Discuss it with your children. My daughters 20yo best friend died last week. You just never know. .
