Okay, so I got this friend, and well, she used to like this guy, and then all of a sudden, she decided she didn't like him, and that he was a jerk. I can't her to talk about it, and personally, I don't know why she thinks he is a jerk. I text him all the time, and kinda like him a bit, but don't think I like him that much. My question is how do I get her to talk about what happened?

Well first of all, you're her friend and you have to accept when she doesn't want to talk about something. I reckon something happened between the to of them and she's upset about it. Give her time to cool down and try to forget about it. If about a few weeks you really want to know ask her to a sleepover. At the sleepover talk about crushs and secrets, its bound to spill out if she doesn't care about it anymore.

But the most important thing to remember is, she's not going to tell you if you push her and she knows you really really want to find out what happened. My friends always try to get me to do things or tell them things that i don't want to do or say and i won't tell them. Once they forget about it and stop pressuring me , i find it much easier to talk or do something than i would have before. Don't put her in the spotlight.

Good luck!

Probably if you tell her you are interested in this person, she will want to tell you why she feels this way about him. If she doesn't want to tell you what it is, she is probably ashamed. Let her know that you won't judge her for whatever she has to say and that as a true friend, you will stick by her.

Tell her that you understand that she doesn't want to talk about it. But, if she does, you are there for her. Also, tell her if something happened that was illegal (rape, but don't mention the word), she needs to tell the proper authorities to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Don't pressure her to tell you. If she wants to talk, she'll talk. She just needs you to be there in case she wants to.
