He is a crybaby. The two reasons he listed was first he didn't want to be on a losing team and be like daddy, you know a LOSER who was proven to be a loser because he couldn't do a thing about his losing team. The other reason was because he wanted to be in a bigger media market, which is why he wanted to go to the Giants.

The Chargers had a reputation of being a losing and a bad organization. I disagree, the Chargers are looking pretty good too.
The Giants and NY are a good place to play, if you win! But I wouldn't mind playing in beautiful San Diego, what there not to like?
I personally don't like the Mannings, the heck with him anyway!

The real reason was Daddy Archie. He mettled into this knowing San Diego had the first pick and Archie had ill feelings towards the Charger coaching staff. They edventually got what they wanted personally if I was SD I would of picked him up and benched him while the team steamrolled into the playoffs. Meanwhile Eli is still picking grass out of his faceguard and another season probably out of the playoffs.

Serves them right I think.

Could be alot of things, the Chargers were coming off a mediocre decade, they were a running offense (didn't want to be overshadowed by LT), maybe he just doesn't like great weather and beautiful women. Doesn't matter to chargers fans, we got Phillip Rivers and a first round pick out of it. They used the pick to get Merriman. We got the better deal.
