Are short pants worn with knee-high boots still in style?

Strip clubs? What the hell? I'm not talking about hot pants; I'm talking about the trend that was everywhere last year--you know, the pants that hit a few inches below the knee, and you wear knee-high boots under them.

In terms of whether it is 'in style', the answer is no. This seasons fashions are very 'lady like'. Think floating summer dresses with floral prints, tulip skirts and peep-toe shoes. Fashions with a 'nautical' theme are also getting a run.
As to whether you can still wear your shorts and knee-high boots in public, there are a few questions you need to ask. Do you care if you're not in this seasons latest trends? Do you look good in the outfit? And most importantly, do you feel comfortable and does the outfit reflect your own individual style?

No, I think it looks tacky. If you're gonna cover your whole leg, just wear jeans. If your gonna wear the short pants, wear like tennis shoes with them, or flip-flops, maybe even ankle boots, but not knee-high boots.
