It means that the preconceived notions of life and death are only mental catagorizations, along with all the others the brain uses to catagorize experiential concepts. And, that apart from all that mental foreplay or play, we most often hardly ever live in the now, the life of the moment. Not an easy task for the greater part of under-evolved humanity.

Mexico_thug - ever thought that not everyone on Yahoo answers has English as their mother tongue and that the translation into the mother tongue might be hampering their comprehension? And you call the question asker stupid?

I understand the phrase asked as "between birth and death you should live a little - or rather live a lot!"

It could be what the other people mentioned or it could be like when someone find out they have an illness and they they really start to live their life because it could be over any second. (Although that's the case anyway, but now they have a time frame)

Dear friend

Nice question

life is nothing but a part of super natural energy present in every live things.
science says energy can not be created or destroyed but can transform itself from one form to another.
so when we die the energy in our body (LIFE) gets transformed in to another form when it leaves the body. Its for that energy like we change the cloths.

have healthy life

TO DIE IS TO BE EITHER IN HEAVEN OR HELL, OR A STATE BETWEEN THE TWO, AS CHRIST TOLD THE THEIF ON ONE OF THE 3 CROSSES. THAT ASKED CHRIST TO REMEMBER HIM WHEN HE WENT TO HIS KINGDOM, CHRIST REPLIED TO HIM, TODAY, THY SHALT BE WITH ME IN PARADISE.........AND ANOTHER PLACE IN THE BIBLE IT STATES WHERE THE PERSON ASKED THE LORD TO ALLOW ONE OF HIS FRIENDS TO JUST WET THE TIP OF HIS TONGUE WITH WATER, TO COOL HIS TORCHERED TONGUE.AND THE LORD ANSWERED HIM, HE HAD THE BIBLE TO LEAD HIM AND REFUSED TO ADHERE TO IT......THIS IS NOT AN EXACT QUOTE OF THE SCRIPTURES, BUT A LAYMENS INTRUPTION OF THE READINGS........AND ALL WE HAVE TO GO ON IN THIS WORLD IS THE WORD OF GOD, THUS..THE BIBLE........IT MENTIONED IN THIS SAME PASSAGT AS THE POOR MAN BEING IN ABRAHAMS BUSOM,....SO THAT IS ALL ANYONE CAN TELL YOU, IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN YOU KNOW, WHERE YOU WILL BE AFTER YOU TAKE YOUR LAST BREATH IN THIS BODY, AND WHERE THE WICKED WILL BE WHEN THEY TAKE THEIR LAST BREATH.........ASK JESUS CHRIST TO COME INTO YOUR HEART AND FORGIVE YOU YOUR SINS, AND ASK HIM TO HELP YOU TO KNOW HIM, AND ASK TO RECEIVE HIS SPIRIT WITHEN YOU, AND HE PROMISED ....IF YOU ASK YEA SHALL RECEIVE......THAT HIS GLORY MAY BE INCREASED........SURRENDER YOUR HEART TO HIM, AND PRAY DIRECTLY TO GOD, IN HIS SON`S NAME, AND HE WILL ANSWER IN HIS STILL SMALL VOICE....GOD BLESS YOU...BELTON44
