hi, have you ever been compassionate or been the receiver of compassion, if so, tell me about it.

Many years ago, someone religious that I didn't even know very well, held a prayer group in her home to pray for my father. I was so touched that 28 years later I still think about her and her amazing act.

Of course I'm compassionate and have been on the receiving end of it many times. There have been numerous people in my life who tell me I have a heart as big as Texas. I've taken care of many a sick person and animals. I once sat with a kitten that was dying; there was nothing I could do for the animal, but I gave it water and didn't let it die alone. I don't believe any living thing should ever die alone. I've cried heavily over the tragic deaths of people I never knew and felt so much sorrow others would think I'd lost someone close to me. As for receiving it, my best example was the OB/GYN that delivered my children; he's the most compassionate doctor I've ever met. He checked on me more then once a day when I was in the hospital and all of them weren't quick 5 minute visits. He saw that I wasn't being visited for long or often by anybody and I was terribly lonely, so he did his best to cheer me up.

i think i haven't been compassionate.. maybe kind but not compassionate.. i have been the receiver of compassion from God ... he's still let's me live in this world everyday even though i dont contribute much to humanity... and keep on disobeying His commandment... because He loves me and everyone else...

i have been compassionate about things in my life. I mean what i bleave in like god , my husband, my family, my pets, my job and how i treat others in life. I receve the same kind back from all that i listed. I have a great life and full of love and compassion. hoped thats what you wanted to know
