Beer basted, or Beer batterd, is the way to go, not marinated in, or roasted in,,,Beer,,,no matter what the Beer manufacturers say.

Moist,,,UM,,,minimally. It's alch. content is 5% average, the rest is water, and certainly water does moisten, but also evaporates, even in roasting at 15 min per pound of meat.

Beyond that, you should have an acquired taste already for food cooked in beer, or wine, or bourbon, etc. I suggest baste the bird in BBQ and drink a beer with the meal.

Don't forget,,,smiles,,, The proper, internal temp, for completely cooked chicken, is 170 degrees far.

BTW,,,DO NOT shove a can of Beer us a Chickens posterior cavity,,,especially and unopened can.

AAHHH, a fellow lover of "beer chicken". Never had it from the oven but have had it on the grill. Can't beat it. Guess if you have a big enough roaster then it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck.

it's called beer-butt chicken ------ come out a few yrs back you can look it up on the internet and find places that may still sell the rack for cooking. You can use just about any liquid it keeps the cken moist

take out your extra oven grills, put it in a pan that holds more than 12 oz & go to town!
put extra seasoning in the can before you start!
steamed chicken
use a dead chicken too!
