This is a trick question.
Say there are concrete DEFINITIONS for determining if the transition i easy or not. Then first sentence is pure fact. But if "easy" is purely a vague term then it is an opinion.
Similarly in B the things like "walked" "silently" and "field" may or may not have objective definition. If there are objective criteria for these things it is a fact, if there are not -- is an opinion.

If I have to choose only one, then sentence a is an opinion, as what is easy to one may be perceived as truly difficult to another. Sentence b is much more a statement of fact, although it could lend itself to opinion as to whether he walked off silently or not.

Neither one is a fact. The first implies an opinion based on individual contact with a problem, and the second implies an opinion of dejection. Either that or he left the field without yelling his mouth off, that would be closer to a fact.

OJs lawyer could have presented either or both of those statements as fact or opinion, and proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that either were true or not, depending upon which person who wanted him to say so had the most money, and would call you a racist, if that helped

a) is an opinion. It's subjective, intangible & can not be proven.
b) is a fact. It merely describes an action without making any sort of judgment about it.

Opinion is just something you think or believe without proof.
Fact is just what is, the tangible, with no emotion behind it.

(a) is opinion-- the use of "easy" in the sentence describes experience and the experience may not have been felt the same by others involved.
