They gave North Korea the means to make "peaceful" nuclear power.....Smells like Iran spirit??
PS..blaming Bush is not part of this question..use some thought in answering this..perhaps you will give some insight into the current Bush/Iran nuke situation by reflecting on the past.

I'm concerned about the present world problems and sometimes it does help to reflect on the past. But reaching back to put blame on Clinton or Carter is not helping in that manner. What did Reagan do about it? Or George HW Bush? If Carter made a mistake why didn't the two Repubs that followed him address it and do something about it then? The blame game can go both ways. All I know is that right now we have a situation where we went into Iraq looking for WMD's when we already knew for a FACT where there were nukes being actively built. Hell, everybody, including China, is scared shytless of that nutjob in N. Korea, and China isn't afraid of ANYBODY. That should be enough to put us all in a cold sweat.

Shortly after Bush was sworn into office he and Clinton had lunch together. Clinton repeatedly warned Bush about North Korea. But Bush said, no, Iraq was the real problem.

Blaming Bush isn't part of the question, but it is part of the answer. If we weren't occupied with Iraq, North Korea would probably not have done this, and Iran certainly wouldn't be as defiant as it is today.

A lot of you talk about this like the 12 years of the Reagan/Bush Sr. administration had nothing to do with this BS. Remember, it was Reagan/Bush Sr. that funded and armed Iraq in there war against Iran. We were fighting our own weapons in Iraq. And lets not for get the deal where they were funded Afghanistan when they were at war with Russia. Russia wanted to go in there and kill every damn one of those people in Afghanistan, but our lovely Reagan/Bush Sr. administration said that if they tried that we were coming over there. The piss poor shape this country and world are in today all leads back to the Reagan/Bush Sr. administration. 9/11 would have never happened if we had minded our business where Afghanistan was concerned when Russia wanted to kill all of them. So the blame goes on the Republicans on this one. Sorry guys, do your research on this, because you lose this one.

Use some thought when asking a loaded question ... you can place a lot of blame on Bush Jr. and the rest would be on Bush Sr. along with his buddies Rumsfeld and Cheney during the early 80's.

This happened more than five years into Bush's watch and you're gonna pretend it's Carter's or Clinton's fault? Grow a brain!

Too bad, Bush IS part of it. Especially now, 'cause he went after Iraq instead of North Korea, and now we are too weak.
Got it? Now you don't have to keep asking this same question.

Looking back on a problem isn't going to solve anything, looking the problem that is of today and talking about how we can fix it is all we can do.
