my friend is movin in tomorrow--she just found out she is pregnant two days ago---my lease is up in eight more months and she understands i may move with my lover after the lease is up so it will be up to her to find a place. We tried to get a two room but the complex doesnt allow alterin of the contract so i just have a one room. Do you think it will be a good idea for her to move in bein pregnant and all? It will definitly help with rent and bills so i can save more money....please leave good answers and not something pointless thanks

while it would be nice to have help with the bills and all. A one bedroom place is going to be very crowded. Especially in 3-6 months when those pregnancy hormones kick in. I would say bad idea.

Since she's your friend, you ought to know her behaviour better than any of us. However, unless you have been living together, one is unable to know how a person behaves in the house and the habits he/she has developed.
Since you have already decided to take her in, this question becomes irrelevant. It is good therefore to set some houserules for both of you to follow for the rest of the months you are going to be together, to reduce misunderstandings between you. These could include things like: shared use of common items; replenishment of items in the fridge; bringing in guests; etc

The fact that she is pregnant is irrelevant. Is she a good person: thoughtful, communicative? Will she take responsibility for her own stuff, but be a friend, too? Will she try not to take things personally?
