...assignations in the Oval Office was the way Reps. blew it all out of proportion, and kept it in the news for months and months, and discussed it like it was a REAL political problem, and acted like lying about cheating on your wife is REALLY a lie (Who wouldn't lie about that??? I suppose all Republicans who have ever had an affair came right home afterwards and said to their spouse, "Honey, I've got something to tell you....???), discussed nasty stuff on a dress (And why the hell did she keep it that way), dragged that other ugly secretary or whatever she was into it...etc. etc. The whole world laughed at the U S while the reps tried to make Clinton look like a bad president. (And all the leaders of other countries were saying, "God, I'm glad I don't live there; they'd probably bug the confessional to find out if I ever lusted after someone.)

"Lied under oath..." "Lied under oath..." You folks make me SICK!!! Why was a man in front of the grand jury about sex??? How did diddling under the desk hurt any of us. I wish all of you had to stand up and and tell the complete truth about everything you've ever done!!
Oh yeah? And you think Dubya never lies to us???? (Well, maybe not knowingly, since he's too stupid to think up his own remarks---just gets 'em from his cronies.)
I'd like to see Bush and Cheney and the binLaden family and Haliburton have to tell the truth about their connections and oil...then, we'd see some "lying under oath".
To me, you he's-a-liar bunch just sound really stupid!

Let's see. A Republican congress gets wind of some potential land deal that Clinton was involved in, and they sick a special prosecutor on the President for months and months. In the end, after finding NOTHING about the land deal that was damning enough to warrant a trial, they just continued poking into his personal life. Ken Star was given WAY too much power.
Where is the Special Prosecutor for Tom DeLay? Where is the Special Prosecutor for Scooter Libby? Where is the Special Prosecutor to poke into the Valerie Plame outing? Certainly, there is more evidence that the law was broken in THOSE cases than there was for Whitewater. But you see, this is a GOP congress with a GOP President.
Does it make a difference that Clinton lied under oath and Bush only lied on national television? Yes, it does. But does it make a difference that Clinton's lies only led to personal embarrassment, while Bush's lies led to thousands of US and Iraqi deaths? It darned sure ought to.

I'm right leaning and I'll agree, lying about a bj does not rise to an impeachable offence.
But the real travesty about that time was Ken Star's open check book and the special prosicutor's power. Something that has never been brought up or addressed. A lot of people forget all that started over some land deals in Arkansas. It took 83 million dollars to go from insider trading and favor trading to oval office oral sex, a shamful period (how nasty does a woman have to be not to wash a dress afterward? sheesh).
I still write my representatives over that, hear no response so I guess they are still fine with someone having so much power in government to spend what they want and to investigate whatever they feel like.

Hell no! This economic diaster has been long interior the making and invoice Clinton helped deliver it on. He labored with Greenspan, too. Greenspan and the international banksters chuckle approximately whether each and every physique is Democrat or Republican. Ooops, sorry approximately that economic bubble that grew to develop right into a dang tsunma! yet those mind-blowing adult men have made their fortunes, so stressful success in case you failed! Losers lose and winners win, say the ruling elite.

I agree with you 100%. And now, the Democrats are going to get maximum mileage out of Foley and Allen for his racist comments. Too bad nobody knows for sure if Bush did it with Condi in the Oval Office (God, what a horrible thought!) or not. That would be grounds for impeachment. Guess we'll just have to settle for pedophiles and racists.

The Repubs had people cheating on their wives at the same time and took Clinton to task. Hypocrites. They spent more money and time investigating Clinton than 9/11. Shows us where their priorities are.

Perjury wouldn't be so bad, I guess, if the rest of us could also be above the law, like that...
The Rep.'s "blew"??? Oh man... Ok, I'm not gonna touch that one... ok, except for this... ahh, Clinton's problems had nothing to do with Rep.'s blowing anything.... and I'll just leave it at that.

All his former business associates turned up dead in short order.
He courted the blacks and the gays and the elderly, not because he gives a rats butt about them but just for their vote. He should be embarrassed about that more than about being a sl ut.
It is one thing for the blacks and gays to be manipulated that way but take advantage of the elderly?, May his d i k rot off for that.
