Hi there,
This sounds like Celtic mythology, in the concept of a "raven goddess of battle", Morrigan:
"The Celts also had a large number of important female deities. These included Morrigan, the "Great Queen"—actually three war goddesses, Morrigan, Badb, and Nemain, who appeared as ravens during battle."
http://www.mythencyclopedia.com/Ca-Cr/Celtic-Mythology.html
"She is both a single goddess and a trio of goddesses:
Badb, Nemain and Macha. The Morrigan is the goddess of victory. On battlefields, she often appears as a raven or crow. She is the dispenser of courage and fear and many a battle has been decided through those emotions rather than battle prowess."

Hope this helps, good luck & happy sleuthing!

you should probably elaborate or at least reword your questions -- but yes, female deities are often represented by ravens. most are from celtic mythology, in which both Cerridwen and Morrighana have to ability to transform into ravens.

Yep. One of the lesser goddesses was represented by a raven. Her name was Hecates, and she's the goddess of witchcraft and crossroads.
Hope I've helped.(^_^)
