It's a chapter review and I was absent. If someone would help me I would really appreciate it!! <3 If not she'll kick me out of Algebra.. :[
It says: What is the product of (6x)(-7y)(-2)? How do I solve this?

Also:
Simplify the following expressions: 7(x - 3) - 4(2 - x)+3(1 - x)
How do I do this..?

Thanks so much for the answers if provided!!

(6x)(-7y)(-2)

Multiply first two first

(6x)(-7y) = -42xy

Multiply (-42xy)(-2) = 84xy (answer)

7(x - 3) - 4(2 - x)+3(1 - x)
Use Distribution

7x - 21 -8 + 4x + 3 - 3x
Combine like terms

8x -26 (answer)

"What is the product of (6x)(-7y)(-2)? How do I solve this?"

The parenthesis mean multiplication. For example, (5)(3) = 5 * 3 = 15.

Thus, the product of (6x)(-7y)(-2) = 6x * -7y * -2. This can be solved by simple multiplication: 6x * -7y * -2 = -42xy * -2 = 84xy.

If you are having trouble envisioning this product, take it one number at a time. Remember that 6x = 6 * x, so the above expression can be written as 6 * x * -7 * y * -2. Then multiply from the left: 6x * -7 * y * -2 = -42x * y * -2 = -42xy * -2 = 84xy.

For the second problem, multiply the problem out. You should end up with:

7(x - 3) - 4(2 - x) + 3(1 - x)
(7*x - 7*3) - (4*2 - 4*x) + (3*1 - 3*x)
(7x - 21) + (-8 - 4x) + (3 - 3x)
7x - 21 - 8 - 4x + 3 - 3x
7x - 4x - 3x - 21 - 8 + 3 = -26

(6x)(-7y)(-2)= 84xy. Okay u do this multplication by multiplying the constants i.e 6,7,2 in the question and then simply write all the variables i.e x,y in this question. If the variables are repeated, the write the variable and write the no. of times the variable has repeated as a power. So this answers ur first question.
Now second question
7(x-3)-4(2-x)+3(1-x)
= 7x-21+4x-8+3-3x
= 8x - 26
Okay u do this by removing the brackets and multiplying the variable or the constant to the ones present inside the brackets and do the required operation. But follow the following sign conventions while multiplying
(-)*(-) = +
(-)*(+) = -
(+)*(-) = -
(+)*(+) = + (* = multiplication)
But don't ask me how this sign conventions came, coz i don't know, it is followe from long, long ago without being asked why
