Foley is responsible for his own pedophilia. You cannot lay the blame for his actions at the feet of either party.
But if the GOP leadership KNEW of Foley's indiscretions and did nothing about it or covered it up, then the GOP IS responsible for every page he molested after the first one they knew about.
Others in the past, Democrats and Republicans, have admitted to consentual sexual affairs with pages. What makes Foley especially slimy is that his advances were not consentual, they were not appreciated, and Foley is supposed to be the top dog in D.C. on protecting minors from exactly this sort of thing. It's the hypocracy as much as the act itself. And it's also the hypocracy of the 'family values' GOP as they struggle to deal with this.

in case you will basically stop polluting your concepts with Rush and O'Reilly for an afternoon or 2 and carry out a little independent, investigative learn, you will come across that over the final decade individuals of the Republican social gathering have been in touch with extra scandals, criminal offenses, and unethical activities than any political social gathering in history. The Democrats are no longer angels with the aid of any stretch of the mind's eye. the two events have had their share of unscrupulous activities. in spite of the shown fact that, the Republican social gathering holds the checklist with the aid of a united states of america mile. it extremely is not a Democrat vs Republican venture or conjecture; this is actuality. So quite of having all caught up in NeoCon rhetoric, get your head out of your butt, open your eyes and settle for the actuality for what that's. P.S. study Gary's placed up.

Foley is Foleys fault. It was once said that the moral test of Government is how that Government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life, the sick, the needy and the handicapped. Foley has failed us miserably.
