Is right wing republican and left wing democrat or vice versa? I have voted every election since I was 18 and I'm 36 now, but I don't know much about some of that terminology. I don't even know what GOP stands for either. And what do they mean when they call a politician radical?

Left wing leans toward social reform......Right wing favors no government involvement, its more or less survival of the fittest. Radical Left is extreme or excessive socialism Radical right wing is promoting the fittest making survival of the weak harder. GOP stands for grand old party. If you live in Louisianna you hear the politians talk you hear radical politicians. Texas is some better most of the time.
