I have a computer with SATA, parallel ATA, and SCSI controllers, and one or two disks on each controller. How can I tell which disks are connected to which controller from inside Windows XP?

Go to start and right click on my computer. Click Manage. Click Disk Management. On the screen it will show you all your hard disks and how they are plugged in.

Open the computer and look at the drives. A SATA looks thin and red, IDE cables are wide and grey, while SCSI look like ide but are narrow.
