because if someone actually decided to pronounce it as 1000 million which nobody does it would still be equal to 1 billion so that would mean the 6000 million would be equal to 6 billion, how do I know? common sense

It depends on where you are. In the US and France, it is the same, because a billion is defined as 1000 million. In Britain, it is different, because there a billion is defined as a million million. The term used there for a US billion is a milliard.
