I have a stem of lucky bamboo that's getting too tall. Can I trim it and start a new plant?

yes you can and you should be able to start a new plant from that one.
what most people don't know is the lucky bamboo is really not in the bamboo family.

I would recommend that you didnt. See there are different types of bamboo plants.My husband and i have about 20 of them in the house and we tried that on one of them and it didnt make it. I would recommend going online and seeing what kind you have and it you are able to do that without harming it.

Yes you can take a cutting from it. Just make sure that the cut is clean and free of rust etc.

You sure can, just cut it off and put it back in with the other, if you want you can dip it in root-tone. Good luck.

yes you can! i recently cut mine and put it in a small vase and its growing im going to give it to a close friend
