florenica... I don't understand... you feel sorrow, regret, mournful, sad, pity, scorn, ridicule, penitence and contemptible because you go out alone. Why? Do you feel that you need to go out with someone or you are incomplete? Well... I think I might understand how you feel. I absolutely hate eating alone. I don't like it and doing it makes me feel... sad. I like to have other people around whenever I do something. Life is to short to do things alone. Because my job requires me to travel I find myself in this position many times so I invite others to go out with me for the evening. My travels have allowed me to see many, many fantastic things to voluminous to describe. But they are all meaningless to me if I haven't shared it with the woman I love, my wife. I have seen sunsets that would melt the coldest of men's hearts. I have felt the blast and spray of waterfalls that would wipe clean the sins of any man. All are nothing, nothing because I haven't share it with my life partner. The best compliment I have ever received from my wife was during a trip to Arches National Park in Moab, UT. She turned to me and said, "I never new places like this existed." It made me feel appreciated... complete. I had done good. So... should you feel sorry for going out alone? NAW.... But try and go with an acquaintence or a friend. You will create a memory that can be shared, again and again and again.

Never feel sorry for yourself....look at the positive of it-your getting out and not hiding at home! It takes alot of effort to go out when going alone! This shows you are not taking the easy way out! BE PROUD--going out takes a little practice-mostly if you've been in a relationship for awhile!

I go out by myself all the time and really enjoy it. I like the time alone, I like to eat alone particularly because when I eat with family they expect me to pay, I like to shop alone because then I don't have to follow someone around to the places they want to shop at and I can take as much time as I want looking at what I came to look at.
There are advantages to going out alone but, of course, it's not good to alone ALL the time.

Hell no! I used to go out alone all the time. In fact, my friends and my mother all commended me on this because they didn't have the guts to go anywhere alone. You have plenty of time after you are married to never be alone again...so you might as well use it while you still got it. I once went alone to a bar on fort myers beach in florida on Valentine's Day.

I think you should be happy to go out by yourself. Not sorry. I go to the bar to dance all the time by myself. If I didn't I wouldn't get out of the house. My friends don't like to go or have other things to do. I say PARTY! and enjoy life.

If you don't go out by yourself... how are you ever going to meet anyone? If you go out in a femme-pack, no single guy can even approach. If you go out with a guy, other guys will think you're attached. Go out by yourself and smile. You won't be alone for long.

What are you talking about?!
Of course not! You go girl=)
It's OK to need some private me-time with yourself once in awhile.
You get to enjoy things leisurely at your pace, no pressure, you can leave anytime you want... who knows you get to find out something new you never got a chance to before.
So, enjoy.

Depends. Are you going to feel pity on yourself, or are you going out to show the world don't need a man/woman to have fun with? Personally, I think you're bold...
