How can I start a conversation with the girl I like? my problem is that am a little shy and we have not talked, even though i know she likes me.

one sure way to get her attention would be to do a lot of really stupid things right in front of her, such as rolling on the floor and howling like a rabid dog, she would NOTICE YOU FOR SURE > But SHE would NEVER want anything to do with you if you act the FOOL to get her 'attention'
So - - DO NOT TRY TO GET HER ATTENTION !
INSTEAD > simply be your own natural shy self and simply do things such as saying "Hi, how are you today >?"
And if she talks to you a little bit, simply wish her a nice day and tell her with sincere simplicity you enjoyed briefly talking to her and you look forward to talking to again soon !
Keep it SIMPLE, NATURAL, and NORMAL.
Do not try to get attention, do not try to impress her, just be freindly and be yourself and say hi and ask her how she is doing whenever you see her.
Once she get's talking, simply LISTEN, and ask questions about HER that will keep her talking. Once you do that, she will appreciate and LIKE you !
Just don't act stupid or say stupid stuff and NEVER talk about sex UNLESS she brings it up, and be shy about it even if she brings it up.

well initially most of the people at the first time are bit shy or feel hesitant to talk to the person of opposite sex... so its true with you too.. Try to leave a note for her in a nice humble and friendly manner.. Try to gain her attention by doing something which prompts her to talk to her... You can also try sending/ giving beautiful 'Roses' to her (either at home or other common place) which will certainly draw her attention towards you. Hope some of these tricks will work for you...

maybe you can start off by calling her on the phone or if you have access to a computer, you can send cards to her. You can be her secret pal and maybe that will lead to more. Just be honest and open. She will like that more than anything! GOOD LUCK!

In just your underwear, stand on your head while waving your arms and singing the National Anthem backwards...that should get her attention.
