Obviously you are about 15 years old and have absolutely zero sense of the history of baseball. While the Tigers have struggled from 1988 through 2005, they were the World Series Champs in 1984 and made the playoffs in 1987, losing to Minnesota in 5 games.

And as for retarded discussion of a curse, through 2004 there was mention of 3 teams that were cursed: The Chicago Cubs, The Chicago White Sox, and the Boston Red Sox. Seems to me that two of those 3 teams are the two most recent WS champs, so that completely disproves your ludicrous statement on curses, which by the way are not real.

If anything, Detroit was "cursed" by horrible management during the 1990's that left the Tigers and their farm system depraved of any noticeable talent. They constantly traded away talent just before they got good and never received anything in return.

If we were "cursed," then how did we beat your beloved Yankees? I'm sure it was the fault of someone on the Yanks and not the outstanding pitching that got the Tigers to 90+ wins this year.

Quit crying about your overpaid, chemistry-lacking team and wait for next year to watch Lou Pinella begin the ruination of the NYY's.

Cursed ok, I don’t follow baseball to the T but from what I did see this past season from looking at the paper that for most of the season the Tigers were the Number 1 team. They started to dip a bit at the end, but it seems they have come back up.

Do you know nothing of sports history? Tigers '68 and '84...OK, recent Lions' history may be cursed.

Why do the Cards flop? Larussa is an overrated manager and that ballaclub is bland beyond belief. It's like they took over the Atlanta Blands' mantle. Give me the Herzog Cards anyday.

Well Detroit certainly has produced some fine teams in the last year (all of whom failed in the playoffs unfortunately). I'm rooting for the tigers and to hell with the LIONS!!!

permit's see - the Tigers blew their risk final 365 days like a bad throw to one/3 from the pitcher. And no team in any modern historic previous has lost the international sequence and long gone back the subsequent 365 days to win it. So count selection them out. easily - as long because it quite is not an ESPN team (Boston or enormous apple), i would be satisfied. provide me Milwaukee, Seattle, Cleveland or L.A.. i do no longer care as long as ESPN suffers.

I believe the Tiger's will win. First off they have the drive, determination, and desire to win. Secondly they are the underdog and no one ever thought they would make it as far as they have. I however have been a die hard Tiger's fan since I was able to walk. I am rooting for the Tiger's all the way. I wish them boys the best of luck. GO TIGER'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
