This morning Korea tested a nuclear bomb underground. Does this both anybody or make you concerned? What are your thoughts on this.
Do you think there'll be war? I can't remember who but some famous man said, "World War III will be the end of our world."

If drafting ever does occur, promptly become a farmer - they (at one Stage in WWII) wouldn't recruit farmers cos they needed food obviously.

North Korea may posess a thermonuclear weapon, but they have no reliable delivery system and the weapon they have is probably too large in physical size to be easily transported. They have a long way to go to have anything of much military significance. I doubt that there will be a war over this and if there was one, N. Korea would be stomped on by the rest of the world. JMHO.

We are watching as the world slides into another form of Cold War--the pitting of actions of passive aggression against precepts of threats from others ---
As the future claims each day that lays ahead of us
we will see the world degrade now into a form of posturing and pretense like has not been since the Soviet Union was at it's peak--and most all of this is because the world is now very sure that they will one day be taken over by U S forces................

There are so many countries with the nuker. They all have reasons for and against pushing the button. It does not bother me and probably will not start a war. There is nothing over there to fight for, such as oil. The next major war will probably have something to do with the control of the money supply and energy.

Thou North Korea government does not trill me, they seem hell of a lot more stable than Egypt and Pakistan. Pakistan really frightens me, because government and defense establishment seem not up to task of responsible control of that weapon.

Well Bush showed the world that if you dont have a nuclear bomb, you could get invaded for no reason. So they had to do it. Now it cant be undone. Way to go, Bush.

As I see it we have two options:
a. Listen to liberals and hide our head in the sand and wait for them to send one here or sell one to extremists and they set it off here in our home.
b. Stand up for what our forefathers believed in and we should too, meaning clean out our home land then do what needs to be done to insure the safety and longevity of our home.

I have a storm cellar, but it's not deep enough for a bomb shelter.
