beauty is in the eye of the beholder !! old saying but very true... i am just an average looking woman, but my husband is very handsome... go figure !!! but i have NO doubt about his love for me... and I can even be mean at times... red head here !!! but no one is perfect... but I ask you this ? how can you really love a person that is evil and vile or is unfriendly or unkind ?? I could never see myself even liking them enough to be friends with them.... soooooooooo, God bless

It is the heart that found that the good person behind the ugly heart. It has happened itself. you did not invite the love between you and the person in question. Then why feel bad? Hot body and pure heart have nothing in connection

To my knowledge and my perception, if a person having pure heart will looks brighter and good when compared to a person who is having an ugly things in his/her heart....
Pure Love looks only for a pure heart and not a pure face......artificial things disappear at any time but not the real one - Its an everlasting story....

It's both - heart as well as body. Priarily, the larger purpose of life is to propagate life and by way of evolution, we are supposed to create better offsprings. This neccessitates that we are physically fit and adequately attractive (not in the csmatic point of view; one need not be a perfect '10' for that matter)to ensure that the best gets best. Having said that, it is not intended to undermine the most important aspect of life - the purity of heart.
So putting it better, we must realise - whereas the physical beauty is essential; purity of heart is vital for life.
So, if one were to choose between the two, it better would be - HEART.

A person can use the term beauty in relation to many things. The expert use of vocabulary; the finish product of an auto design etc. But when speaking of a person, our perception of beauty develops as we grow up or grow older ( for most of us anyway). In youth, it often is related to the physical attributes of someone. But as we develop and experience life, circumstance and relationships on every level, we begin to accept/realise that beauty, in its greatest form, exists within the person. The one that is most beautiful in our eyes will be the person that is confident.. articulate, thoughtful, creative, not afraid of living or life challenges; the person that can laugh and be silly but also serious when the situation requires it. And most of all, the person that has a healthy love for themselves and the people in their lives. Goggle emmylou. She is over fifty with white hair. She is a performing artist. If you enlarge the pic you will see the little wrinkles but the physical beauty is there. But you will also see that she looks confident and happy. She is doing something she loves and also something that people enjoy. Then, find a pic of Paris Hilton. Then compare the two.

Honestly the actual meaning of beauty is ofcourse Pure heart . with beauty u can proud on your spouse but if he or she has not a fine and friendly nature U cant introduce them to anyone ur friends or family.

well that's a very gud question. For me the real beauty lies within the heart... External beauty is for a short time whereas internal beauty lasts forever. Remember... external beauty might be deceptive. One should be prudent while selecting one. Hence this answers that former is the best choice.

if ur only dating or passing time a person with a beautiful body will b a gud bet but if the question is of long term commitment forget about the body u'l get bored or frustrated with a person having a beautiful body but not a sweet soul to match.

It depends on the nature of the person rather than looks because looks are temporary where as purity of heart remains till u die.With beauty u can win hearts of youth but with purity of heart you can win heart and soul of all generation people as one is known by his/her actions rather than looks.
