When I ask people at work, school and even have political discussions with people in general no one has ever heard of the Bohemian Grove, the Bilderbergs, Council on Foreign Relations or the Trilateral Commission. I have heard people say you are some kind of "conspiracy theorist" if you even want to discuss these groups and their influence on American politics and policy. Since their membership lists contain Presidents(from both parties), political leaders, media figures and heads of multi-billion dollar corporations shouldnt there be some type of dialoge in the press about this so at least the average person knows enough to formulate their own opinion. I would like to hear from people on all sides of the political spectrum. Why this lack of open discussion in the news, in school, in general? If there is no conspiracy or any hidden power manipulation why the strict policy of media silence?

Well I would guess that the many, if not most, of the heads of the media and big journalists are either part of these groups or have incentives to look the other way. I definitely agree with you that these things need to be looked into more thouroughly. Obviously there are some reasons why these things are kept very quiet. That many people of power all together under one umbrella seems like reason for alot of concern if you ask me.

Sounds like the masons, just don't really know whats up with them, since there is little news, there tends to be more speculation, which leads to conspiracies, which lead to ... well... I think thats the end of the line...

Groups of people who happen to be in power, will always be in the spotlight, just might not be much leaking out because they are focused on watching out for each other in their own interest.

I think they own and control the media. These are the most powerful men in the world so would that surprise you? But there is somebody discussing it, George Noory and Art Bell. You can listen to their show on the net. I think you have to pay for it, but they are on radio stations all over too if you don't get them on the internet. They have some fascinating guests. Sometimes their shows are about other things, but if you can get them online they have show archives.
