Hiring new employees at a higher wage than older ones and expecting the lower paid employees to train the new ones? If so what can be done to change things?

There is no law against it. It happens alot. For example the company I work for I've been here the 2nd longest and have the most verifiable previous experience. I do more work and yet I'm the lowest paid. I was expected to train the assistant manager and I'm not a member of management.

There is no law which requires employers to do so. If you are not in a union you would have to get the staff together and see if you can get support for you cause. Then it would take you all meeting with them and discussing it to change the policy. Good luck, it a long uphill battle. My department just put 3 years into it and its only now coming to fruition

are there any laws guaranteeing that a man and a woman in the same position get paid equally? or how about a minority?
the answer is no. This is a capitalist country, we protect businesses and allow them to discriminate as long as we cant prove it.
thats how it is, and always will be. we have a free market so if you really dont like it i suggest you quit your job.

There is nothing substantially wrong with this, may be ethically incorrect but if you have any other problem you may refer to the following web-site:

No. Your employee is free to do that, and you are free to quit.

I don't believe there are. If you're unionized, the union would probably have rules against it.
