how long does it take to receive a state id in the mail from the DMV? I live in California. I know on the web site it says up to 60 days, but how long did it take you guys (from personal experience)? I'm hearing maybe a week or two? let me know, thanks.

about a week and half to two weeks. thats how long it tool when i got my cali ID and then it comes with forms asking if u wanna be an organ donor and stuff

I lived in Sacramento, CA and had to get a replacement ID when I was rolled on K Street mall. It took about 10 days. So if you're already on file with them, it's pretty quick for the Sacramento area at least.

Shouldn't you get it while you wait there? usually passports take the longest
