Yes, McGyver would have gotten them off the island in an hour! Practical experience beats book smarts every time in a crisis.

Haha! Absolutely...McGyver can do pretty much anything. Have you seen the MasterCard commercial with him...it's so funny! My dad loves McGyver and I used to hate it, but now that I am a little older...I can totally appreciate the creativity of the show! Go McGyver!

Yes he would have. He would have been smart enough to take the boat apart and build a smaller one out of the wood and used the palm trees to fashion a mast for wind power.
