Uhhhhh.........yea! So he does not shop at Saks Fith Avenue, so what? Does that change who he is inside? You liked him before you saw him at the thrift store, what changed? I am sure he shopped there before you met him. It makes NO SENSE that you should not like a guy just cause he shops at a thrift store. Unless you are one of those RICH B*TCH SNOBS!!!! GET A LIFE, no one is perfect and not everyone is rich in this world. You either like him for who he is or you like him for what he is, there is a difference and I mean a HUGE difference. I will share an example with you ok? I met my husband on the phone, he stayed with my then boyfriend and he always answered the phone, I hooked him up with a friend of mine, that did not work out, about 3months later, I asked him out. When I met him in person he WAS CUTE really cute, then when I became pregnant, we went through a rough patch, but it worked out, then about 2 weeks before my delivery, he had to get surgery for an ear infection that was eating away his ear bones. He lost his hearing in that ear, but my point is when he came off the surgery table, his face looked bad, it looked like QUASIMOTO from Hutchback of Notre Dame, and it was scary. I barely recognized him. Had I been YOU I probably would have took one look and said goodbye Quazy, but I am me fortunately, and I thought to myself, I LOVE this guy no matter what and if his face stays like this forever, it is not his face that I love, it is his heart and his personality. I am still with him now and his face has healed some, but it is still a bit paralyzed, he is still cute to me though and now we have 3 children and we have been together almost 9 years. If you like him REALLY like him, you would not care if he shopped at a thrift store. Who knows, maybe 10 years from now he will be rich and he will see YOU shopping at a thrift store for you and your kids when he drops off his donations. Karma sucks, so beware! Good luck!

Honey, you are wrong for thinking what your friends think is hot or not. Where a person finds something to wear is not important or what your friends think is HOT or NOT. It is what YOU think of him that matters. When I was in high school the girls I thought were HOT my friends thought were ugly. Guess what, they became : an international model: an actress: a model for the Sunday paper adds for Lazarus/ Macys, and in fashion magazines for the latest/hottest hairstyles. At your age where someone can afford clothes is at of no importance!!!! Believe it or not, where you get your clothes from, and your next meal, for that matter, is but about 3 or 4 paychecks away for your parents. ( do you understand economics and how they affect you and your family) In Cincinnati the best place to shop is a place called THE SNOOTY FOX!!!! They sell a lot of the latest fashions and retro clothes in the area. So does the local thrift store for what was hot 10-30 yrs ago is hot today and therefore to find these clothes is at the local thrift storeBill Gates(the man who made the program you are running on right now,Microsoft, was the BIGGEST GEEK AND WORST DRESSED IN HIS CLASS and now he is worth BILLIONSand BILLIONS( YOU DO UNDERSTAND $$$$$$$BILLIONS DON'T YA) AN OLD SAYING IS NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER!!!!! reread what I wrote and ask your parents how long they can go without a paycheck. Research what I said and then rethink what you wrote!!!

Yes - so what if he shops at a thrift store, you can find some cool clothes there & some clothes that not everyone else will have. Just cuz he shops there doesn't mean he is poor or dirty or whatever. And maybe he was just there checking it out for the first time or looking around while he was waiting for his Mom to get done shopping. As long as he's a nice, clean guy who cares where he shops. Maybe other popular guys shop there too.

Maybe he is just good with his money. Sometimes you can get great deals at thrift stores. You obviously didn't know by his clothes that he shopped there. I wouldn't judge, but there are a lot of things that would turn me off from a guy, that wouldn't turn others off. It is up to you what you value in a man or not, and if it bothers you there isn't much you could do. I think there are a lot of other qualities you should look for, but that is just me.

What's wrong with a guy wanting to save a buck or two? Actually some of the most comfotable and stylish clothes come from thrift stores. That's the way guys think about it. You don't have to buy your clothes from Abercrombie and Fitch to be popular.

You're loss...Even the well to do kids here shop at the thrift stores. Even kids who can afford to shop at Lord & Taylor shop thrift stores...it's great, they get good quality designer lables at 1/4 the cost. My daughter purchased her entire senior year of highschool wardrobe for less than $200.00. There were labels like Laurent/Klien/Gucci and even a pair of Prada shoes. I think the guy is SMART for shoping at a thrift store...you however....if you're paying retail are not too bright. Even Paris Hilton shops thrift stores.

I understand what you mean, my son only wears name brand clothes and alot of ppl think THATS weird.
When I was little we shopped at value village and goodwill, and I hated it so much, since my friends had 2 parents that could afford them new clothes.
I am sure he doesnt like shopping there or if he does then he is not into fashion, which is good in a way because if you end up with him, he can spend the money he saved on clothes on you!
Dont be so harsh, clothes are clothes I guess.
Hey if hes hot, go for it.

No offense, but that is pretty shallow. You don't even know why he was shopping there. Maybe he is shopping for things to put together is Halloween costume or just needed some clothes to wear to do painting, auto work, or something like that. Don't judge someone for the outside....it's the inside that counts!

Plenty of people shop at thrift stores... you can get some great things there! Dont be like that... you can't judge someone on where they choose to shop.
