The terrorist would have chosen to attack the McDonalds plant or Coca Cola plant way before the spinach, lettuce or any vegetable plant. This is America. Not enough people would be harmed off spinach and lettuce here.

the veggies is directly from the "organics" craze. they dont believe in using chemicals when raising crops. (because chemicals are bad and are made by corporations!). Well, the chemicals were used to kill pests, parasites and diseases that would be in the crops. so lo and behold an e coli outbreak and other outbreaks now involviving lettuce and others. I hope this is the end of the organics craze and a return to common sense, use chemicals to remove disease and parasites from our food. when you buy it, wash off the chemicals. and you dont wake up dead from e coli.
