there is no one solution but many. of course as others suggest --get google, yahoo search etc. but more than that --try to connect to old phone books and the year your ex-friends lived and the city they came from etc. --then connect to the current year information. the same way --even if their name do not appear --you have a chance to call their neighbors etc...they might help too. last but not least -- get on to a web page where people get to know you and at times they do knock -- on your web page. i had a friend connect with me after 30 yrs. voila...hope it helps.

If you type in "free people search" there will be several options that pop up. Yahoo even offers a limited one. The problem is that people change their names or use phony names.

www.myspace.com i have found some old friends on there that have moved across the country and i haven't talked to for like 4 or more years! i was truely amazed, just need their name! (email helps)...but yea it's great if you don't already have it :-)
