It's possible.

I guess this is an argument in favor of having a tournament.

USC, Florida, West Virginia, Louisville and the winner of the Michigan/Ohio State game can ALL go undefeated! Who'll play for the National Title then?

In my opinion, the BCS rankings are a joke and an old fashioned head-to-head match-up would better determine a real National Champion instead of a computer fead stat machine.

How would they determine who play's for the National Champiuonship then?

In all honesty, the BCS is rigged. That being said, it would all depend on TV ratings and who people really want to see. So we're looking at USC, Florida or the OSU/Michigan winner. Lousiville and West Virginia would be tossed to the side just because they aren't "as big of names" as the others. I think we'd see USC vs. the OSU/Michigan winner just because people want to see if "USC can avenge their loss last year." Honestly, there needs to be some new system in place, whether it be a tournament or some other rating system because the BCS is just plain RIGGED!

Louisville and West Va play each other and Rutgers. As do Mich and OSU. Thus the max number of undefeated left at the end of the season is 6:
1. UL\WV\Rutgers
2. Mich\OSU
3. USC
4. Florida
5. Missouri
6. Boise State

If that happens my prediction is that the big Ten winner plays Florida for the National Championship.

OSU will have road wins over Texas and Iowa and home win over Michigan or Michigan will have road wins over Notre Dame and OSU and a home win over Iowa.

Florida would have road wins over Tennessee and Auburn. Home over Georgia and an SEC title win over Arkansas

USC will have strong home wins over Notre Dame, Oregon and Cal and a road win over Arkansas but don't think its enough.

Missouri will have beaten OK and Neb but with a weak non conference and a long way to climb in the polls even the win over Texas in the Big 12 Championship will put them down 1 bowl.

UL\WV\Rut have too weak a schedule to be in the mix unless they are one of only 2 undefeateds.

Boise State is a mid major thus no championship game for them

In truth looking at the schedules still to play I don't see USC, or Missouri winning out anyway. So the only two teams with strong enough schedules to pick from the remainder are the OSU/Mich winner(OSU) and Florida.

I am not sure, you could be correct, they change conferences so much I lose track. But I think Michigan and Ohio have to play each other as do West Virginia and Louiseville. USC does have to play Ohio State. Anyway, there is no play off or official way of counting points. The Board of Directors votes on who is the best team in the event of a tie within a conference.

USC and proably Michigan/Ohio State Winner. Oh and Louisville PLAYS WVU also. So not totally possiable there. The Big East gets ripped off by being called weak. Only because they hype USC in the WEAK Pac-10.

If that happens, My guess would be Florida vs. winner of Michigan/OSU game.

West Virginia and Louisville will be hurt because of a weaker schedule

USC would be hurt because Florida would've won the SEC championship game and getting the boost it needed to overtake USC the final BCS poll.

and yes, the BCS sucks.

i'm calling it proper now. Michigan is going to be #2 and OSU will face Michigan. it truly is going to likely be an extensive activity yet Michigan will win and win the nationwide Championship. Auburn will in all risk lose against Florida and West Virginia is likely one in all the main over-rated group on the precise 25. no longer likely into element in case you like info seem up my "question" which develop into me venting my rage approximately West Virginia. And with USC, noob quarterback would desire to no longer get it finished.

Anything that shows the BCS for what it is would be good. It might get us one step closer to a tournament. By the way, Louisville plays West Virginia so they can't both be undefeated.

1 and 2 would then be determined by strngth of schedule, which is why the BCS has one too many letters in it if you get my meaning! Have the top 8 teams play it off and use the bowl game stadiums as game sites!

it will be USC vs. whoever USC has been in the championship mix for 3 years if they are undefeated you can't deny a team that has two of the last three championships ans a runner up in the championship.
