Why do people like watching extreme gore movies? Texas chainsaw massacre, hostile, and other movies just as lame. Is it because they don't feel anymore after watching so many of them? T_T This is why some kids laugh at sad times T_T

i like horror and gore movies, the more blood and guts the better!!! better then watching jackass..oh yea i want to pay money to watch those idiots hurt them selfs, thats funny ok.
you know the Texas chainsaw massacre isnt real, but its fun to watch. u dont always have to watch serious movies.

It is called a fasination with the abomination. It is an adrenalyne rush somepeople prefer to riding roller coasters or driving fast or boxing. They like the thrill of it all. It makes them feel alive.

Gore for gores sake is not horror. Its revulsion. I prefer a really scary movie that has a plot and doesnt throw buckets of blood at you. "Psycho" was filmed in black and white and it it one of the scariest movies ever!!

uh... i guess people like watching gore movies because they've seen so many horror movies with killings, blood, body parts, etc... that they've gotten used to seeing that, and they want to see more gore every time... more variety, so to speak ( same principle, but different imagery, applies to porn...)

because its so unreal and gory that you know it couldnt happen in real life... also kids (or anyone else for that matter) dont laugh when bad things happen because of scary movies, but because of the stress of the event, if someone laughs at a funeral for example, its because they dont know how to deal with everything they are feeling, and its a nervous laugh, not like hahaha its so funny someone died
