I work for a company that sells grills. We had a customer buy a $1000 grill and return it 3 times because it wouldnt heat past 300 degrees according to the customer. I made an offer on the grill. It doesnt realy make sense to me a gas grill wouldnt put out more then 300 degrees of heat. If i buy this grill (at a significant discount) is there a way to fix this? We repaired it twice through the manufacturer. Im certain they wouldve checked the thermostat, but this realy makes me want to try out this grill. Any suggestions?

If its natural gas,, make sure that you have at least a 3/8 gas line leading into the regulator,, they have good 10ft. quick disconnection hoses that are made just for natural gas grills

close your flu damper some. it rather is located in the back of the range on the pipe the feeds the chimney. seems such as you have it extensive open and the warmth is going up the chimney. attempt it at some million/2 closed and regulate it from there. If there is not any longer on on the chimney pie you could have one put in. in basic terms a theory, did you look at or have you ever had your chimney inspected for creosote residue?

Try it with your own thermometer.

You would be surprised, she may have put her own thermometer on it, then kept opening the top to check it, so it never got a chance to get hotter. It maybe just human error.
