please do not do what most have suggested here. you can run chances of damaging the nail bed or nail root. which could cause it to become deformed or not grow at all.

your best bet is to take a few dollars and mosey on over to the nearest store and buy a bottle of remover. your neighborhood store will cost more verses going to walmarts, shopko, kmart or other simular where it will be cheaper. or go to the dollar store. if...in real dire need, ask a family member, friend, or a neighbor, if you could borrow some.

Scrounge up a dollar and go to either Dollar Tree or Wal Mart for a bottle. Unless you have straight acetone in the garage. If you have fake nails-----dont use the acetone.

You can use a nail file over your nail but this thins it out. If your desperate. but only do it once. Petrol and paint thinner also work but this is in extreme cases. You should realy only use acetone.

I sit a pick it off with my fingernails or a metal pointed nail file.

Comes off easy if the polish is on thick. If it is a thin coat you need to scrape it off. Use a steak knife if needed or a pocket knife.
