I just had sex for the first time and have blood in my underwear. It is not my time of the month... is this normal?

Yes, I used a condom, retard. And it was with my boyfriend of 4 years who is now my fiance. And I'm 21; is that a problem?

This is very common and you have nothing at all to worry about. If you've ever heard the expression 'popping the cherry' this is it. After a girl has sex for the first time she will bleed. You probably also noticed that it was painful to have sex - it's only that painful the first time and after about the 3rd time it starts to feel good. I hope this helps!

Normal

Yeah, hon, it is. (assuming this is for real?) That will happen after your first time--your hymen broke that's all. Just wear a pantiliner, don't use a tampon or anything. It won't be much, and will go away on it's own.

I don't know what your family situation is, but do you have someone to talk to about "girl stuff"? Regardless, please use protection. The pill only helps with pregnancy (btw, I have one child because of the small error % of the pill!)--condoms and testing. If he really cares, he'll do it.

Absolutely. That is the membrane known as the Hymen, and it breaks whenever the first sexual penetration occurs (99% of the time, by the penis, but I have heard, though I do not know if this is true or myth, that sometimes digital penetration (fingering) can rupture the hymen).

Some women hardly bleed any, others actually look like they are having their menstrual period.

Others, especially the more active women, are so active, they have torn theirs because of their activities, and will not bleed at all the first time.

Yes, when you have sex for the first time your hymen breaks so there is a little blood.

No worries! That's why it's called popping the cherry. It's normals. I freaked when it was my 1st time. you just broke you hymen. Relax and make sure you go to your gyno, just for a check up.

Don't worry, sounds perfectly normal... assuming sex was consentual and not violent???

Yes. It is normal because you were a virgin.
