harry could not c the thestrals after his mom died. he only saw the thestrals when after cedric died

he didnt actually SEE his mom died. just a green light.
he SAW cedric die

To see the thestrals you must see some one die. Harry only listened to his mom’s death, never seeing it from his crib, only a flash of green.

I think he did see it in Book 5 and I think he did not see his mom die... just a light
