Has she had her period since 8/29? I know that sounds stupid, but I have had 2 friends that still had their periods for about 2 months after they were preg. If the results of the first test came back negative, you could possibly say that your girlfriend didnt have enough of the pregnancy hormone for it to be detected. That being said, if the test was taken on Oct 6th and still came back negative, then there is a good chance that she is not preg. There would be enough hormone there for the test to detect the hormone. All in all, I would have to say she should still see a Dr. Just to put your mind at ease. You can usually go to a clinic that works on a sliding scale, and since she is not married and probably has limited income, it will be very cheap for her. While she is there, she might consider taking some form of oral birth control, so this issue has less of a chance coming up again. Once again, if she has limited income, she can usually pay very minimal for this also. I hope this helps. But go to a Dr.

I'm going to give it to you straight.

First of all, since you are not married you should not be sexually active. Period. If you're man enough to sleep with a girl you had better be man enough to marry her first. Otherwise, you're just using her shamelessly. I wish I had been aware of that point when I was dating. I could have saved myself a lot of heartache by doing it God's way the first time around. God's rules are there for a reason--because God's way is the best way. These aren't just arbitrary rules pulled out of nowhere. God is a loving God and he tells us not to do certain things because they hurt us, individually and as a society.

Second--the "pullout" method of birth control is the least effective. Some sperm are secreted in the pre-ejaculate before you are even close to having your climax.

Get your girlfriend to the doctor for an exam and a serum pregnancy test. Sometimes the blood test will detect a pregnancy that for some reason a urine test will not, I'm told. Your girlfriend needs to discuss this with a doctor. While she is there, she should be tested for HIV and all the other STD's. You should take yourself in and get tested as well.

My last piece of advice--If you don't want to be with your current girlfriend forever, then tell her that and both of you need to move on. Afterwards, please remain abstinent until after you are married. I've been there--trust me, it's much better to wait. I had to learn the hard way. It's never too late to change your life for the better.

Usually a positive pregnancy test will show up after her first missed period, if it's negative, wait two more weeks, then take it again. If a period is missed the second month, take one more test. If all of these are negative, she's probably just missing her period due to stress or something. Just so you know, you can still get pregnant w/ the pull out method, some sperm can release before you actually ***. Be smart, if she's not pregnant now, start wearing a condom. She's 18, that's too young to have a baby, she needs to get a secure job, go to college, save up money, and so do you. Think logically & think about what would be best for a baby, now is not the time to have one.

Oh how I love questions like these. I also love how in the question you refer to her as "this girl" and then proceed to say how she's your girlfriend. At 21, you're old enough to know the gool 'ol pull out method isn't effective no matter how hard you wish for it to work. Try using a condom for a change or tell your "girlfriend" to make an effort to never open her legs again until she gets on some birth control. There's no excuse for people these days to be so careless about sex and protecting themselves. Ha @ the irony of the display name under your icon.

A lot of things can cause a girl not to get her period. Stress, diet, lifestyle. If she has taken two PG tests and they were both neg. I wouldn't worry. I know the planned parenthood where I live will give free PG tests. You might call one where you live and ask. You might even ask them about birth control. It's not too expensive through those places. To me, it sounds like you too are a little to young to worry about having a baby. I understand the whole pull out method, that's why you should really look into birth control.

The pull-out method is one of the least effective birth control methods, so she really could be. To find out for sure go to Planned Parenthood. They can do a better test and put your mind at rest one way or the other.

Possibly but could be other female problems. Sometimes stress can stop menses. Has she had blood work done to rule out pregnancy?

Yes, it really depends on what brand and quality you are using. If you really want to know bring her to a family planning clinic. They will charge a nomial amount and your will get the correct answer and any resources you need. PS, by one opinion is to keep the baby!
