Not in the fridge = 10 hours.
In fridge = 8 days.
Do not store in the door. There's a helpful link below. The site (kellymom.com) is an excellent breastfeeding reference.
(24 hours if it's been frozen.)

The rule I followed for the 13 months of breastpumping was this:
Up to six hours at the most for freshly-pumped milk that has not been refrigerated. The milk "fat" may separate and rise to the top, that's okay, just give the bottle a little shake.
Up to 24 hours in the fridge. If the milk was still in the fridge at the 23rd hour, I froze it.
Frozen milk: in a regular freezer, not the door, and not a deep freezer: 3 months maximum. Use a bold Sharpie marker to write the date on the bottle.
Thawed milk: use within 24 hours.
I followed these guidelines and the basic food safety rule, "When in doubt, throw it out."
At four months, my son was taking 40 ounces of breastmilk, so I understand how hard it is to pump and portion out milk for the next feeding, for the fridge and for the freezer.

Answer: It is generally accepted that you can refrigerate breast milk for three to five days and freeze it for three to six months. Don't freeze milk you plan to use within three to five days because freezing destroys some of the antibodies. (However, frozen breast milk is still healthier than formula.) You can keep milk that's been frozen and thawed in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but don't refreeze it.
Breast milk contains live antibodies that kill bacteria. Since bacteria is what causes milk to spoil, the antibodies in breast milk will keep it fresh longer than formula or processed milk.
But in reality there are no absolute guidelines for breast milk storage. The many variables include the type of freezer you have and how well it works. A separate deep freezer unit will keep milk fresh longer because you generally don't open it as frequently as you do a freezer / refrigerator unit.
To help pumped milk stay fresh longer, wash your hands before pumping and make sure the pump and collection bottles are very clean. (Washing in the dishwasher or in hot soapy water usually is fine.) Refrigerate or put your milk on ice soon after pumping — it will spoil faster if you keep it at room temperature.

Fresh no more than 4 hours or it's yucky. I'm sure.
In the fridge probably 2 days.
You canalso freeze your breast milk and then it will last longer.

you know what? to be on the safe side, i'd only keep breast milk or formula in the fridge for 2 days. after that, i don't trust it at all. not even left over chicken! but, i know that if you leave formula out for more than an hour or two, it gets nasty. i don't know about breast milk. i never left it out.

you will in all probability get solutions in the variety of three days to each week. do no longer pour sparkling milk in with chilled milk. What makes breast milk bypass undesirable is rather micro organism. everywhere in and on your physique is micro organism. In small quanities, they do no longer look to be a situation. yet this micro organism is in breast milk and it will feed and strengthen off the foodstuff in breast milk. So the assumption is which you rather p.c. to apply the milk in the previous the micro organism gets too varied. because of the fact the growth fee has various variables, each source states a distinctive "risk-free" term for breast milk at room temp v. frige v. freezer. the reason breast milk will final longer in the frige than at room temperature is by way of the fact the micro organism will strengthen plenty slower in chilly temperatures. in case you pour heat milk in will chilled milk, you will rather reactivate various the micro organism in the chilled milk. in case you p.c. to combine freash milk with chilled milk, you could 1st chill out the freash milk and the combine them. yet of direction which ability you could thrown the entire element out whilst "risk-free" era of the oldest milk has surpassed.
