It doesn't matter how he pronounces it, as long as they hide the launch codes from him.

Wanna bet that he's not that stupid? He's dumb as an ox - guess I just insulted all the oxen in the world, sorry guys. He's a semi-literate, functional illiterate (yes, there can be such a thing!) who barely got through college with a GPA down around 2.00 which is a C- for those who don't know. The minimum for graduation? A 2.0. Add to that all the joints he smoked, the coke he snorted and the booze he drank, and his brain is severely effed up. He thinks its correct.

Extract from:

Bush isn't the only American president to lose the "nucular" war. In his "On Language" column in the New York Times Magazine in May 2001, William Safire lamented that, besides Bush, at least three other presidents — Eisenhower, Carter, and Clinton — have mangled the word.

Most people from Texas and the rest of the south (including the President) have what others in the northern and middle states call an accent. It sounds OK to them, and they probably think YOU sound funny.

Lots of people pronounce it that way. He's not doing it just to piss you off. You should be more concerned with the Democratic party's plan to pardon 20 million Mexican criminals.

It's not that he refuses to pronounce it correctly. It's that after a few too many everybody slurs their speech.

Who cares? Its just the way he talks. He talks just like my wifes grandmother. They both look like too wow!

As long as he continues to be a good strong president in the war on terror he can pronounce nuke-yeller anyway he wants to!

I think every one has that problem. However if Bush would spit out all that tobacco, then he could talk better. Of course it could be snuff.

Because a large percentage of his supporters couldn't say it right even if they tried.

At this point, I think he views that just like he does everything in regards to his job...

which is, "Why bother?"
