Lexmark 1200 Series---Problems?

I tried to install the software again and it wouldn't restart itself

Do you have the CD with the installation program on it for the printer? If so, using the Device Manager, uninstall the printer. Then reboot the computer, and Windows will find the printer (have it turned on), as "new hardware". It will then ask you for a source to load the driver for the printer, and you direct it to your installation CD. If that source doesn't work, I suggest you visit the Lexmark site and download the specific driver for the Lexmark 1200 from them, and install it. Good luck.
