When pics are taken of me my face looks all shiny or oily how do I stop that from happening? Even if I just recently washed my face and put on makeup it still looks like that. I dont know if its the make up or skin or what and how to stop it.

I have this problem too.

You can some diffrent things.

Buys ome oil blotting sheets (Clean & Clear have good ones), and dab your T-Zone once in awhile when you start feeling oily.

Or you could buy a pressed powder with oil control power. Neutrogena makes a great oil control pressed powder. Just brush a little on once in awhile (over make up), and *poof* its gone!

Light diffusing powder after blotting. And don't use a makeup with an oil base. Mineral makeup such as Bare Minerals ($25) or Philosophy Airbrush makeup ($35) and bottom of the line Loreal powder foundation ($15) and Physicians Formula ($?) work well on greasy skin. I know this, I have shiny skin and makeup wise I fluctuate between Bare Minerals and Philosophy (I actually prefer Philosophy but it's price irritates me, plus you can only get it at Nordy's or Sephora or online)

In a Seventeen Magazine issue, they told readers that to prevent shiny/oily skin from happening it's best to use Japanese Rice Paper. It works wonderfully. =)

Another good thing to do is:
Before you put on your make-up, wash your face. This will strip the face of your natural oils, and help to tone down the shiny. =)

Here's a link to some GREAT Japanese Rice Paper-

Use an oil free foundation and matte powder and right before taking the picture, use a blotting paper (MAC) or dust your face with MAC Blotting Powder

Try lifting up your head and pushing your chin forward a bit. This will keep the skin of your neck pulled taunt and make your jaw look sharper. Also, try turning your head to a slight angle, the way Paris Hilton holds her head in every single picture she's ever in. This way the camera isn't seeing both your cheeks, just one and half.

You have 2 options 1. buy some oil blotting pads or 2. buy some matt foundation also just wondering if you use face powder after you apply your foundation? this will also tone down the shinyness. hope i helped.
